Brian, I have done this. The aftermarket cat bolts up fine with the S&S system. However, one of the cat flanges was tilted at an angle. Do you know what I mean? they were not exactly parallel to each other. This caused a slight problem when lining up the S&S muffler. I had to loosen all of the muffler fasteners, tighten the cat flange fasteners, and then push the muffler into position. I don't know if it was just the cat I bought, or are they all like this?
