I am 6-2, and in my friend Simon's get-away-topped 91 westy syncro I can stand upright under the raised section. I cannot do so under the lower section. So only about 1/2 of the floor space is available to me erect :) I'm off to work on said van today, if you like I can measure. Must note that Simon did add about 3/4" of foam to interior of top. alistair
