I've heard a few people say stuff like that... I have yet to hear anyone
say "then I repaired the leak, filled 'er up, and the rack is just fine."

Anyone resurrected P/S *after* a long period of no pump belt? Did any rack
damage result?

Just looking to find the BTDT results from the listees... I no longer need
the info for myself. My rusty lines gave up and 'bled out' at the end of
this past winter. I just kept it off the road until it got warn enough to
replace the lines (with hoses) and rebuild the pump (ran dry and cooked
before I got it home).
