Nope, no damage from lack of power steering. Manual steering from lack of
pump pressure is identical to manual from-the-factory, only you probably
have a smaller steering wheel and will develop strong arm muscles from
parking. The only thing you want to do is remove the PS pump belt BEFORE
the system runs dry and burns itself out.


P.S.   Plan on a mild case of tendonitis and/or tennis elbow  if you drive
it a lot or are old, like me!
