Funny how that sort of thing depends on where you are. When I was in the bay area people in Marin would wave about half the time, people in SF sometimes, and other parts of the bay almost never. Here in Richland I have yet to pass anyone the other way, although I've seen other vans in traffic either in front or behind me.

I'll still wave at everyone in a van I see. If it's anyone on the list I'm waving to, wave back! :)
