I have the magnetic strips (bought a hyuuuuuge roll with knackered self-adhesive, cheap(ish) from http://www.electronicsurplus.com

But then I saw someone who'd sewed pull-overs for the top of the driver and passenger door. That looks more secure than the magnetic strips, so I'm going to investigate that possibility.

I'm also looking into creating a bug screen for the sliding door opening. The door bracket is the makes-me-go-hmmmm bit. I'd like to be able to open and close the door with the bug screen in place. I'm thinking of something heavy(ish) laid over the poptop rim, and just leave a generous amount of netting to drape around the opening. I'd be grateful for any better ideas ...

(D'ya' know? I used a curved needle to sew noseeum netting a third of the distance around the knackered front bugscreen in the poptop canvas before I discovered that I could unzip and open that screen ...
