If I don't have my Westy I will start with a diesel Mecedes Benz's Sprinter. No need to do a pop top for standing headroom as it has sufficient height. It affords a huge floor plan. You can have shower and bath and all the creature comfort you desire. Better yet it still have lot of towing capacity while hauling the extra camper weight.

Westfalia builds the Chrysler's Dodge Sprinter RV sold by Airstream which is called James Cook in Europe.

I was just thinking. seeing how much I love my Westy but don't love the pre-trip fixes and low power, I was thinking that a Honda Element with a pop top might be just the perfect urban weekender. With a bed in the back, and room to stand, that might be a fun little camper.

Anyone have any thoughts for a more reliable Westy alternative?
