I put seats from an 85 into my 81. I pretty certain that rails are rails.

Now......

Your cheezy tag line says this:

>"Back in 2000 a Republican friend warned me that if I > voted for Al Gore and he won, the stock market would > tank, we'd lose millions of jobs, and our military > would be totally overstretched. You know what? I did > vote for Gore, he did win, and I'll be damned if all > those things didn't come true!"

If you are going to post this kind of political trash in the Vanagon list, you are going to cause a lot of trouble in the group, and I guarantee that much of it will come from me.

I do everything I can to avoid getting political here. I sometimes fail. I sometimes catch myself, and other times, folks call me on it, but it does not help people like me, when others feel that they can impress their political views onto everyone else under the diguise of a "clever" tagline. In other venues, its referred to as "chumming the waters"

You are posted a remark, quoted from a professional, political shark who makes a living inciting and arguing, and hoping no one will respond? I find that highly offensive as it entices me to reply with my own POV, and from there, it gets ugly real quick, thereby irritating everyone else.

Therefore, with about all the respect I can muster, as one who is easily provoked and prefers not to be, yet still wants to read the VANAGON list, please do not post political, partisan, flame inducing crap on display here in this neighborhood.

Thank you. I am sure that is about as civil as I can get.

Mark
