Don't tell them that you have done anything. Just see if it goes through first. They get crazy about engine swaps. If you don't tell them, it will pass if the engine is running good, and they will never know because the engines look identical. Just pray he didn't make a note of your conversation. My grand mother always warned me not to tell everything you know. It isn't lying. If they don't ask specific questions why volunteer information?
