I'd start looking for about five problems: 1) Fuel Pressure Regulator. 2) Stuck Cold Start Valve 3) By Passed full throttle switch 4) Bad timing, point setting, wrong dwell, wrong spark coil wire, bad rotor / wrong rotor (wrong resistance), corrosion in the cap (need copper contacts), dirt on top of spark coil or corrosion in the top. 5) Sticking electronics for the fuel pump, either the double relay or the AFM. If I stall out while accelerating, the engine floods and it takes upwards of 40 minutes to restart. rather embarassing if it happens in a public place. So far it hasn't happened in an intersection (yet). Anyone else have this problem or an idea what the problem is? Steve C --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free by AVG.
