the battery box vent is a likely place for mice to enter. one way to keep them out of there is to stuff it with steel wool. it is breatheable and mice can't chew thru it. this would be handy in other areas too. moth balls work but i can't tolerate the smell. i opt to use steel wool. i live in the woods and mice are very prevelant. steel wool and not keeping food around has been a big help in keeping them out. i suppose another solution would be a van cat! go to the pound and get a free cat to keep in your van, no more mice problem, but maybe some other problems like litter box and such...(friday) jason 87 syncro westy
