Hi Volks, Winter is now looming somewhere off in the distance, and I'm thinking that my Dad's 1982 Vanagon work truck would be much happier running L-Jet fuel injection than the dual weber carbs it's wearing now. The lack of choke on the webers makes cold starts awkward starting in November and they get to be a serious PITA from December through to mid-march. I need EVERYTHING: Fuel pump Injectors Fuel Rail Air Box S-Pipe ECU Double-Relay Resistor Pack Wiring Harness AFM Cold-start injector Thermal time switch Various required vacuum hoses. We'll be sourcing our own fuel hose and clamps locally through www.GermanSupply.com. It'd probably be cheaper to buy another bus than to try and pick up all the parts piecemeal, but it can't hurt to ask, right? And there just aren't very many aircooled vanagons being parted out up here... at least none that I know of. If someone is interested in swapping for a pair of webers and an electric fuel pump, we would be happy to pick up the tab for shipping.
