>My accelerator pedal is sticking when I floor it. I assume it would be >best to replace the cable. How long should this operation take? I don't know the part number, but I can tell you that you will spend more time dropping the spare, finding the right tools, and getting under the van and getting up from it, than it takes to thread the cable through to the rear. Not half an hour for sure. I stared at Bentley and asked here quite a few times before just doing it, and it was another one of those tasks that goes so well, you can't help but smile to think you ever figured it was gonna be tough. There is an adjustment mentioned in the Bentley for the throttle connection. I didn't use it, but just pay attention or it will start up and rev to 3000RPM, or you won't get full throttle. Not a big deal, just be aware of it. :-) While you are under the front, grease the shift linkage as you will be right there anyway. Mark |
