My 1999 Winnebago/VW Rialta with VR6 gets 17 to 22 mpg, with a consistant average of 20 mpg. The comfort of enclosed restroom, 2 sinks, hot water, 3-burner stove, conventional oven, microwave oven, reliable large 3-way refigerator/freezer, large fresh water tank, gray and black water tanks, generator, roominess, ability to haul string 5 band members and all their instruments, and drivability. All reasons I have owned one. I have had Westfalias since 1970, and sold the last one a few months ago. I'd love to have kept one, but had to trim the vehicle collection. |
