I am quite sure the fridge fan is wired such that none of the switches on the fridge control turns it on/off. It will run regardless as long as the temperature is hot enough to trigger the bi-metal switch (sensor) mounted on the condensor fins.

It is not broken.

My fridge fan comes on during hot days when parked in the sun even though I believe I followed the instructions for turning it off: I firmly pressed both the gas and the AC power buttons after turning the temp all the way down.

I did notice that the DC button doesn't readily snap out -- but it comes out with some coaxing -- so I'm wondering if something is broken. Ideas? Fixes?

- Kevin
