I keep my very cheap Harbor Freight digital multimeter in the van and
the more expensive one from an electronics store in the house.  Guess
what, I virtually always use the Harbor Freight meter.  One less thing
to carry to the van.  Seems to work fine.   It may not last as long, but
at the sale price, I don't care.
