Subject: Who's got their Bentley handy?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

Mine's in my Westy, which is 943.44 miles away, according to mapquest.

John at aircooled.net sez he has a good, used 90 Carat auto tranny at a good price. My 84 AT is sounding shaky. Might be less expensive to buy John's. I asked him if it would fit. He said that he had no idea, being an aircooled kind of guy. He added that, "mine has the trans oil cooler on the front of it, that was not on your 84."

Couple of fellows here on the listserv said the 90 AT would fit my 84 WBX no problem. I asked about that oil cooler on the 90 AT -- would that be a problem? Fellow said that my 84 has an oil cooler on its front, too. Take a look, he says, or in your Bentley. So I have a certain degree of uncertainty about this. As I said, the Westy and the Bentley are not close to hand at the moment.

So, who's got their Bentley handy? Does the 84 automatic transmission have that oil cooler thing on its front?
