"Em, is the snorkel on his syncro--or his face? ;-)"

good one Richard. This thread has me thinking of the "snorkel" which was added to my van to cut the air intake resonance problem from the I4. The air cleaner is in the base of the left D pillar. The snorkel tube attaches with a clamp to the end of the cleaner canister and runs to the top of the pillar, and attaches behind the plastic vent/duct. Wonder if that would buy some time in this kind of situation, the already mentioned electrical issues aside? bob The fall colors are starting to happen in our mountains. Park City at about 8K' is getting orange.
