i think that the rear sliders are still available.  it seems like some one
on the list ordered some from germany or some such a while back.  whether
they have the vents i don't know i kind of doubt it but i could be wrong.
interesting project none the less.  personally i would stay away from
plastic.  a good glass shop should be able to cut you some safety glass
for a reasonable fee.  its quit common to have to retrofit safety glass
into old applications in my neck of the woods for safety reasons and well
your in cali. :)......
