Subject: Idle Smoothness? (was: Temp. sensor function, Bucking, etc)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi,

Thanks to all those who answered my question about the functions of the two temperature sensors. Bob, before you let fly with not very polite comments like "What is the function of the Bentley?", know that I would have looked in my Bentley if I hadn't loaned it to someone.

(This is on a Digifant Vanagon:) Today, in my never ending quest to diagnose my bucking problem, I'm wondering about idle smoothness. I vaguely remember (and vague is as good as it gets, with me!) my idle being _rock steady_ after the engine was warm -- I'd watch the tach at idle and not see any motion. Now my tach is jumping around a tiny bit. Next time y'all drive, would you watch your tach at warm idle and see if you can see any bouncing at all & get back to me or the list?

Thanks to all!

PS - You learn something new every day -- the injectors see 12V all the time and the ECU just grounds them! Weird, huh?
