Lasts year when I was driving west from Michigan, We went up and across the UP. I was amazed to see a road-side repair shop FULL of vanagons. The shop is on the western side of the town of Ironwood, near the Wisconsin border. try http://www.eurocarvw.com/ or:

European Car Sales and Service, 201 W. Cloverland Dr., Ironwood, MI, USA, 49938 Phone: (906) 932 - 5720 Fax: (906) 932 - 0914

I stopped to talk with the guys and they do a lot of Vanagon, BUT I have NO experience with them. This may be your best bet. Good luck. malcolm
