It's 5mm hose that's used here.  You *might* be able to replace these hoses
without dropping the tank, though it's tight over the top of the tank; you
might try it with the understanding that, if worse comes to worse you'll
have to drop the tank.  You probably should plan on replacing the grommets
that hold the expansion tank float valve in place.

Hi All,

I have a 1987 Vanagon camper.  The hoses on the expansion tank are rotting
out.  Gas spills out if I do a fill.  I called a local dealer and the parts
guy was not even able to tell me the diameter of the hoses. I called several
online parts places and nobody could tell me anything about the hoses or
what is involved in replacing them.

I have a few questions...
How much of a pain is this to fix?
Do I have to pull the gas tank to replace all of the hoses?
What type of hoses do I use? (looks like I will not be get at all of them if
I use the type that needs a clamp)
