I would want to add either a cargo net across the top or the "dog bars" (not the technical term by any means) that I have in my Land Cruiser. With passengers sitting in the back, having stuff fall on your head at every stop would be very annoying and unsafe. And in the case of a serious accident, limited the projectiles flying around the car is always a good idea. Other than that, I like the design though and had built something similar in the back of a pick up once. Except it was opposite with the storage on the bottom in long drawers and sleeping room in the top. Worked great!

I'd like one that is the height of a big rubbermaid tub, so that it could fit above or below. If you've built something like this, do you have anything so say about the design? Photos? Have you tried something like this and decided it didnt work for some reason?
