For sale 84 Vanagon with 253,680 miles on it. Fair condition inside and out. I've owned it since Oct 98. Been my wife's kid hauler. I'm selling because I just bought diesel van to tow kids dirt bike trailer with and already own a VW Jetta and a VW 79 camper bus. I would not hesitate to drive this Vanagon anywhere today or let wife and kids leave for anywhere today in it. I'm a Mechanic in the US Coast Guard. I have a record of all repairs and Maintenance sine the day I bought it, 4 note book pages full. Comes with extra "used but good" Cylinder heads, starter, and distributor. Here are some of the things that I've replaced since I have had it. replace all fuel injection hoses replaced all brake components, hoses, drums, etc. rebuilt transmission from Rancho transmission, new clutch, throw out bearing, redline, pressure plate etc battery Brake maser cylinder gas cable water pump Bob Donald's Boston Engine wheel bearings new radiator all water hoses including heater hoses new ignition coil clutch master and slave cylinder and clutch fluid hose new ignition distributor new gas tank and hoses/tubing on top of it new electric fuel pump Air Flow meter and the large hard plastic tube after AFM. O2 sensor Muffler Fuel PSI reg Idle stabilizer
