I would...if you are already going to open up the coolant system. If the pump goes, its a real mess and leaves you stranded. Go ahead and do a little extra work now for peace of mind. Pump is about 5 years old. Has @50,000 miles. Been running in the high temps of desert for a year.
I have read on the list that the average life of the pump is 50K.
Is it prudent or overkill and just wait another year or so to change the pump?
All opinions welcome.
