Hi all ive been playing around for many years washing and waxing and buffing my cars to look good and im not known for washing my cars all that often. i washed my 71 bus in the beginning of last year and my 66 squareback was washed in 2001. the 66 bug last year. so im not a fan of washing cars. but my 71 bus was way over due since ive been driving the crap out of it for some time and i painted the upper side white but left the very faded yellow paint on the bottom alone. so everytime you touch it with oily or greasy fingers it is on there forever and i couldnt find anything to pull the finger prints off of the front bumper, engine lid, and rear corners. untill i noticed my wife cleaning the sink( soapstone type) that nothing cleans with a product called clorox clean up. just spray on rub around let it sit and hose it off. my kind of work. so i tried at 1st the door to the garage and the front door that is that off white primer that doent clean for beans. so i sprayed it on and wiped it off. magic it was like new. so off to the garage for a test of the vanagons breakdust hubcaps that ive tried all sorts of brake dust cleaners with no luck. well clean up and a brush and letting it sit makes them look like fresh paint. now for the 71 bus with greasy finger marks. just spray it on and wipe it off. gone. the finger marks have been there for 4 years and with swipe of the rag it was gone. now if your concerned about what it may do to your paint then dont use it. my paint is dead and looks like crap. so off i went and washed the complete bus and used clean up on the tires and hub caps ( vanagon caps on my 71 bus). works well and can get your nuts out of a ringer if you get a grease smudge on the door that just wont come off. spray and wipe and go about your business. i also use it on the stupid plastic stuff that always gets that yellowish dirty finger oil mess on it. like sunvisor clips, seat belt hooks, coat hook hangers, dash knobs, etc. c-ya Jonce
