My '84 Westy does not deal well with snow - it has adequate traction and pushes through the wintry mess well enough, but the lack of weight on the front end causes snow-plowing (wheels turn but van goes straight) in the slightest accumulation. All in all, we get by OK in the Westy, but do most of our driving in our AWD Chev Astro (a true beast in the snow).
