Thank you all for the wonderful responses to my now apparent "cry wolf"
post about low end mushy power. I got a smaller hose clamp, cranked it
down nice and tight and now she's purring along happily again. Tomorrow
I go in and clean as many connectors and dohickeys as I can find. Can't
wait to find out what other surprises wait for me from the PO. Overall
seems like she's in great shape, but you never know unless you're more
mechanically inclined that I! Many wonderful tips on things to check
with a "new" Westy. This list is wonderful and I'll try not to post
anymore unless it's really serious. ;-)
