Thank you. Exactly what I was hoping for. I will purchase a trickly charger for the winter months. I was a bit surprised to see you suggested connecting the charger through the cigarette lighter. That is more convenient, of course, but I had heard anecdotes that this approach was less reliable. Any comment? Am I hearing from unreliable sources?

That's a great deal you have for your van insurance. If I do keep my van parked in the winter I will ask my insurer, State Farm, if they will do something similar.
