> Hi folks, > weather permitting, I'm gonna be putting in a new clutch slave cylinder > this weekend, and figured I'd swap out the hydraulic fluid as well. How much > should I have on hand? I assume you mean both the brake and clutch systems, since the reservoir is shared. I have used a little over 1 liter when doing mine. One could possibily do it in less if you had to, but fluid is cheap, I had lots, and we have a very damp climate here in the winter. After 2 years, the fluid is usually dark brown. Be sure to use DOT4 fluid, I usually go for Castrol if I can find it. -- Shawn Wright http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright ~This message sent by Pegasus Mail, the safe E-Mail alternative~ "Friends don't let friends use Outlook" |
