I have a gas 84' Westy with a 1.9TD conversion. I am considering replacing my transmission mount and have discovered that the diesel transmission mount is 25% cheaper. I am not sure what the difference is. Could the rubber portion have a different density to compensate for the additional vibration of the diesel engine or is the mount physically different?
