That is an excellent point as mine is the same. Clear it by a couple of inches after I adjusted the garage door opener carefully. Of course this is with my roof rack and carrier taken off for winter storage. If you go with bigger wheel and adjust the aspect ratio to retain the overall diagmeter you wouldn't have problem.
