as mentioned in another post i have been wondering for a while what the original volkswagen factory undercoating and seam sealer was made from? when i refer to under coating i'm not talking about the black tary substance that i think was put on as a dealer option but rather the very thick "rubbery" like substance that one finds in the wheel wells. i know that 3M and other body shop supply type companies have various products for this application but i still wonder what the factory used. jonathan |
