Volks,

Phaedra has been found! Kind of.

Well, the bandititos let her go. Both groups of them. Actually they begged her to go, I think. They had stopped her on an unopened toll road in lower Mexico and tried to extort money from her. She never said but i believe that they wanted to use her, if you know what I mean.

Well shortly there after both bands begging for mercy, pleaded with her to resume her journey. I don't know if they actually bribed her with her own money but maybe....

This all happend after she was pushed off a pyramid. Truly. And after good but insufficient physical therapy made her way slowly back to the US. Insufficient because she was unwilling to take any more time. Bad mistake. Her report is that she hurts, a lot, from the dislocated hip suffered in the fall, and can do about 2 hours of work before she has to give up for the day. Bad.

But she is alive, and sounds cheerful.

She claims that she can't contact the list because her computer hard drive is still non op. And, you'll all like this, to get phone service reestablished after more than a 30 day hiatus the phone company says she's a new customer. And as such they must collect a bunch of very personal information by order the of the Department of Homeland Security for a national database. Sounds like dossiers in the old Soviet Union to me. V. bad. ugh.

Any way she promises some more up dates sometime.

Remember Phaedra's sometime is Mexico sometime so we can hope for this year, maybe.

Mike
