Dennis,

I agree this is one only non-biased test out there. The experiment is
very well design. It is very hard to take the wear performance data of
both Mobil and Amsoil to say which one is better due to the significant
number of uncontrolled variables such as different engine life, driver,
season trip type etc.

The bits I found very interesting is seeing the additives work and that
topping up rejuvenates the oil.

It was not my intention to pit synthetic against the petroleum oil. I
would love t see a similar test conducted on petroleum. I will not be
surprised the longevity will equally be very enlightening.

I've been following this test for a while now.  It's the only non-biased
test I could find anywhere on oil life!  It should make all of the Mobil
1 users out there happy.
