I thought about it once, but why bother? You still will have the same crappy FI system. The AFM is the same technology and it is an issue on the Golf/Jetta the same as our Vanagon. You need a place to bolt a knock sensor to the block - not a big deal but something to consider and the timing maps would be wrong for the wbx engine. I think it would be more beneficial to install a 1993 to 1995 OBD-1 Motronic system from a Golf / Jetta 2L - that is a good FI system.

Anyone think of installing a VW Jetat/Golf Digifant II fuel system into a Vanagon. There is little difference in these systems. The advantage would be undated VW Jetta/Golf parts avalible cheaper, and a few minor electrical updates. Eric
