Any pro's out there who can give me a definitive answer on this (no educated guesses allowed! :-) )

Once the old caulk is pulled out of the seams on my van, why not just fill those seams with bondo and paint for a much cleaner appearing van? I can't think the body flexes enough to crack the bondo, (which is pretty flexible.) In the old days wouldn't they have filled a seam with lead for a clean look?

I have seam sealer ready to go and the seas are rust free, but I'd rather not see any seams at all.

Thanks for the input,

Mark Thoma
