Subject: Opinions on the value of an 88 Westy
Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII

As much as we like the idea of being a two Westy family, one Westy is all my wife and I really need. So, reluctantly, we are thinking of selling the Westy that has taken us on many great adventures during the last 14 years. I know that putting a value on our vans is not a precise science, but I would appreciate your opinions on the approximate market value of my Westy. Please mention the range of prices you think might apply. Unless you state otherwise, I'll assume you are referring to a private party sale. I don't need to rush the sale. THE GOOD: Southern California van all but this last year, gray water tank, all camping stuff works, regular maintenance done NEW STUFF: tires, battery, pop top seal, skylight, engine belts THE BAD: head gasket seepage, another small coolant leak (exact origin unknown), rear bumper staight but cracked, 3 very minor dings, 2 minor body repairs made at back corners, underside of stove cover damaged but functional MISC.: white with blue stripe, about 150k miles CURRENT LOCATION: South Lake Tahoe (near Reno, Nevada) Thanks for the input, Lee 87 Westy 88 Westy 04 Element
