thanks for all the great info from the list, right now I thinking pros and cons about
heli vs self tapping plug, would heli be better or not as good as self tap.

why would i need to stick my sender else where? BTW I have a 1.9l

    Your FLAPS carry an oversized, self tapping plug. Worked for me.
Downside is the oil temperature sender will have to find a new home.
     They also carry a ball-valve replacement for the drain plug. Anybody
using one of these? Sounds scary.
