Subject: Anyone converted RHD to LHD or vice-versa?
Content-type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=us-ascii

I'm looking at an 86 Syncro which has turned-up... someone imported it from Germany, but as it's LHD it can't be put on the road.

It's a 2.1 and apparently in good condition (it's 365km away, so I haven't seen it yet). Price is $665.00 US.

I'm looking at the viability of buying it and converting it to RHD. What I need to know is exactly what parts I'd need for the conversion.

Those I would definitely need: dashboard steering rack pedal cluster wiper assembly complete (minus motor?)

Would I need these: handbrake lever assembly steering-column/master-cylinder bracketry -anything else?

I can probably get the parts from an SVXVanagon owner in Australia, who has a friend wrecking a 1990 Type 2.
