Perfectionist. I'd blank the old wiper holes. VW did this itself on many models... punch holes for both sides and blank one set...

>You are also missing shifter in your list of things to change.

The shifter is centrally-mounted, so it would be an easy one. With a T1 or T2 all you had to do was heat & bend the lever. Been there, done that.

>Steering knuckles (aka suspension uprights.)

These won't need changing...

>Rightside door handle will lock w/o key.

Simple enough.

>Sliding door will be on the wrong side.

No problem.

>Headlights dip the wrong way.

Easy to replace, cheap too... in fact I have spare H4s lying around in a box somewhere.

>Front interior light on wrong side.

There's an opening on the other side, under the headlining, ready to accept a light.

>Maplight can be changed with dash.

Maplight? IF it has one...

>Speedo cable. Flip-flop front bench if equipped w/2 person front bench.

It'll be buckets.

An afternoon's play...

Dunno! -- Regards Andrew
