Oh, that's a good one. We better alert the Coast Guard as well as the Fed DOT and every State DOT. There are millions of boats, RVs, trucks, etc running around on our highways and waterways with multiple batteries in parallel. The worst danger must surely be the perhaps million homes with solar electricity and racks of batteries in parallel. This could well be a Homeland Security issue as well, should some terrorist figure out a way to exploit this dangerous situation. Wait, now that I think about it, the dangers are even larger. Many Hospitals, Universities, Government Offices, Corporate Computer Centers, etc. have battery backup systems in case of power failure. These often have massive battery banks, all wired in PARALLEL!!! CALL THE FEDS NOW!!!

But wait, since this horrific situation has existed for decades, we should have heard of many tragedies from this deplorable practice. That can only mean one thing, THE FEDS ARE IN ON IT!!! They must dispatch the black helicopters to each incident site to put the lid on any news stories and so avoid a general panic. They must be in the pockets of the LARGE CORPORATE BATTERY MANUFACTURERS!!!

I know, I'm gonna call 60 Minutes. Wait, what's that new clicking sound in my phone......
