Subject: '87 Westy AT slipping in first only
Content-type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"

OK, I'm looking for knowledgeable explanations; if you've BTDT or know about ATs in general...please reply. The signs and symptoms are... €The AT only slips at first start up of the day. € It only slips in forward, not reverse. € Once the AT stops slipping, it usually doesn't repeat until the next day.

This AT was rebuilt by a local shop and the torque converter was sent off for redo about 20 months/10K ago. All cogent input would be appreciated. -- Stephen Chillicothe OH
