Hi folks, My friend's got an 89 golf Wolfsburg (gas, manual, Light blue) that got hit in the front- messed up grill and headlight, and the ac got knocked out too. She still drives it fine, so apperantly the radiator's still good. She has to get rid of it, though, and I wonder if there's anyone out there interested it taking it to part out. She's put a lot of $$$ into it, and has been the owner for the past 13 years. Engine's got 150 k on it. So- if there's anyone out there who'd like to come get it for a few hundred and drive it away, lemme know. I can go give it the once over, and may be able to send pictures too. the car's in Brooklyn NY

If there's no one out there to take it, she said I could pick over it for parts before going to the crusher. Outside of an engine conversion, is there anything in there an 88 vanagon could use?

You can write to me with questions, and I can forward them on.

-Matt Sutton 88 GL Brooklyn, NY
