1 of only 20 in NA? Really, that seems a bit off, as I've seen about 5 of them in this
area. Maybe only 20 were sold, but more imported since...

Also, interesting to note the van is listed in Vancouver, but the dealer plate is from "Bow
Mel Motors" in Duncan, about 20 minutes from me. They are no longer a VW dealer
(Chrysler now), but may still service VWs. When I bought my '88 Westy from them in
'96, they still serviced and sold VW parts, but hadn't been a dealer for 2-3 years. They
did have a very nice '91 Syncro Westy on the lot for $25K CDN a few years ago, and
managed to sell it. They used to get a few nice Westies every spring, although I haven't
noticed any the last year or so.

If it turns out the van is near Duncan, BC, *and* someone on the list is interested, I
would be willing to check it out, and *even* take it for a spin :-)
