<BODY><P>Hi Bill,</P> <P>The valve at the back, situated on top of the thermostat housing, is to be turned by hand only. It only opens a partial turn. Don't use pliers or you'll break it! The bleeder screw at the front just needs to be opened until some coolant escapes (along with the air bubbles). When it runs without bubbles, you're done.
