Well, fryday already!
You don't know the story of Joe Hakkapelliitta? Oh, my. Well according to
Unca Joel there was this Italian guy who took a wrong turn driving his Van
one day [rvc] and ended up in Finland. Being as how the Italians and the
Finn are so close, kind of like step brothers and sisters, and their
languages are so similar he got along just fine.
So he stayed.
But, the only thing he didn't like about the place was that there were no
Pirelli tires available. Being Italian, much like being a Finn, he invented
his own Pirelli tires. Being as how it was Finland he made them work really
well on snow and ice. Well he marketed them and did very well but his
Finish Marketing manager got a bit confused by the name Pirelli so when he
spelled it the name came out Hakkapelliitta, which as you can see, is very
similar.
And thus the Finnish tire company Hakkapelliitta was born.
See, now you know.
Want me to explain jerry rigged to you too?
