Hey Volks folks, All this talk of winter camping has got a wild notion to put my old 1963 Corvair gas heater into my 87 syncro westy conversion. The heater is a bit old school for sure but its a powerhouse when in comes to kicking down some quality heat when your freezing your buns off. I need to drill some holes in the back wall of the rear underseat storage compartment to install some stuff like the combustion blower, faucet pump, press reg etc and FORTUNATELY remembered HEY DOUG, THERE IS A GAS TANK MADE OF PLASTIC BEHIND THERE! before I started in on it with my drill. Anybody know how much room there is between the tank and the metal? Drilling a hole in my syncro tank would really ruin my day. Thanks, Doug |
