If you stay with the same outer diameter there will be a slight difference .... You need to go down in tyre profile and there will be a smaller height of rubber that could move around - you get increased stability This is why the sportscars go with 18 inch wheels with almost no rubber height ! The drawback is less air between rim and ground with a bumpy ride as a result
