Folks,

Just a quick note to say my wife and i just completed our "farewell" Minnesota Loop Tour.

Van ran flawlessly, refrigerator made ice every night for 10 days without a hitch (a nice bonus considering the *record* hot weather we had for the first half of the trip). GPS says we covered 1450.2 miles, but that includes a few miles kayaking in Voyageur's National Park and sailing once we got to Grand Marais.

We saw three other Westies on the road, one with a kayak on the roof, but never had a chance to speak with the owners.

If anybody is interested in producing a Vanagon Calendar i think i've got a killer "September" image. Picts can be found in three sections starting here: http://homepage.mac.com/jspeer_mn/PhotoAlbum17.html

Best,

-jspeer '89 Westy GL '00 Victory Sport Cruiser <-- yep, still for sale
